We are a group of TV people who all met because of the Grass Valley Group, which was based in Nevada County, California.

We know that NTSC needs the frame rate to be "nearly" 60hertz, and we checked with Gary Ware the designer of SMPTE timecode.

The beautiful twin cities of Nevada CIty and Grass Valley are home to a diverse population but have attracted broadcast manufacturers over the years. It is wonderful to walk along the streets and bump into people who have influenced how we all make and view TV. CEOs, engineers, receptionists and all those who make the companies run are treated as equals, especially in the snow of winter or the hot sun of a balmy summer day in the Sierras.

We have all built equipment we are proud of, and we continue that tradition through today. If we can help we will try to, so get in touch and if we meet on Main Street, that will be even nicer!
